The dirt road was hilly and there were sudden washes in it and sharp curves on dangerous embankments. All at once they would be on a hill, looking down over the blue tops of trees for miles around, then the next minute, they would be in a red depression with the dust-coated trees looking down on them.
Emma High is a multi media artist that draws from the traditions of performance, photography, installation, video, and sound.
She received her BA in printmaking from Southern Oregon University in 2007 and her MFA from The University of Arizona in 2011. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including the BF Gallery in Taipei City, Taiwan, The European Center for Photography in Bratislava, and Garden Gallery in Abu Dhabi. In her free time, Ms High is researching upcoming projects, yelling in a proto-tribal metal band, and immersing in an intensive yoga practice in Seattle, WA.
